September 15, 2026: Greenwich Historical Society Barn
Jonah Rosenberg, Head of Rare Books, Arader Galleries, “Eve in the Garden”: From at least the 17th century, women have been scholars, artists, patrons and collectors of natural history art. Who were these women, and how have they shaped our understanding of the natural world? Through books, prints and paintings, we’ll trace these women’s place in the history of our knowledge and admiration of growing things.

October 13, 2026: Greenwich Botanical Center
John Michelotti of Catskill Fungi will speak about the ecological functions of fungi, common edibles and medicinal mushrooms, as well as historic uses of fungi and present-day innovations. He will discuss how to grow mushrooms in your garden to use as companions to your plants and about how mushrooms have been utilized to remediate contaminants from soil. John Michelotti's company Catskill Fungi offers outdoor educational classes, cultivation courses, mushroom art, and produces mushroom health extracts for sale, John is a former President of the Mid-Hudson Mycological Association. John will bring his books, mushroom extracts, and mushroom art for purchase for any interested members.

November 3, 2026 (Tri-Club): Bruce Museum
David Monn, of David Monn LLC: “It Matters.” - Bruce MuseumDavid will talk to us about the tools and values of social entertaining, and present techniques and tips from as “far as you can see to as near as you can touch”. In our ever-evolving world of “instant moment” and “disposable” living, the art of social entertaining helps people feel secure. Come listen to a master event planner give us a history of what social entertaining has been used for, and tell us what matters, and why.

Ed McNamara, owner and founder with his wife, Rose, has made SOVA (“Stewards of Vast Abundance”) Farm in Norwich, NY, famous for its certified organic and pastured eggs. SOVA Farm also produces certified organic chicken, lamb, pork, and now raw milk. Ed will be talking about the challenges of small, diversified farming. He will examine our food system, past, present and where do we go from here. Come in person, or on Zoom, to hear Ed talk about how he and Rose decided to purchase the farm and why certified organic food is so important to our health and environment. 

February 9, 2027: Greenwich Botanical Center
Roberta duBester, award winning floral designer and GCA Floral Design Judge, will demonstrate a design inspired by our Club Show schedule. Each member will then use her techniques to create a floral design of their own. Following the workshop, we’ll have lunch and create small floral arrangements for residents of the Mews.. Come learn, laugh and brighten someone’s day!

March 9, 2027: Greenwich Historical Society
Marla Mossman”: Founder of The Peace Caravan has photographed mosques, temples and churches along the Old Silk Road from China through Indian and the Mideast. This international award-winning photographer will share her witness through these historic lands of color, culture and arid beauty. Her talk should inspire our venture into our June Club show entitled “The Silk Road.

April 13, 2027: Greenwich Botanical Center
Our own Leslie Harris, co-host of The Garden Mixer podcast, will speak on “Hot Flashes in the Garden”. Come for an entertaining and informative talk about microclimates in your garden and understanding how knowing your land is a real gardening superpower.

May 11, 2027: Greenwich Historical Society Barn
